Kidzania Lisboa Opens in May

Europe’s newest theme park, Kidzania Lisboa, opens May 7, 2009 in the Dolce Vita Shopping Center outside of Lisbon. Conceived in Mexico, the Kidzania theme parks simulate the look and feel of real cities. Kidzania Lisboa puts a European spin on the theme park, featuring a Central Square, a Formula 1 race track and an Arts Quarter. This realistic environment gives children a chance to experience adult life in a city built for their size. Children also learn about adult professions by joining activities in replicas of locations such as a hospital, fire and police station, shopping center, TV station and many others. Kidzania offers an educational and independent experience for children while also emphasizing the importance of social responsibility in the business world.
