Art in movement in Lisbon

Lisbon's transportation company CARRIS has a new project dubbed  "Arte em Movimento" or Art in movement that will run until July 2010 and support the modern art movement in Portugal. It will transform historic elevators, trolleys, and funiculars into public art to be enjoyed and encourage discussion.

Several Portuguese artists were invited by the "trolley" company Carris to blend their work into Lisbon  public transport. The Program to Support Portuguese Contemporary Art displays will be there to visit until the 30th of June, 2010.
