The objective of this new visitor center is to know (and taste) the wines of Churchill's, a company founded in 1981 by John Graham. The company has been placed in the higher ranges of the wine industry. "We're almost like a tailor, as we have proof of each one," explains Maria Emilia Campos, director of sales and marketing company. "Port wine is a very special way of being glamorous,” adds Campos. "We did not want a visit to the cellars like any other, we want to focus on the explanation, the way wine is made," recalling that stresses of Churchill's wines to be placed in levels of categories Premium Porto and Douro. Hence wanting to make a difference: "We are a niche company, we are in special categories, we are not in supermarkets." In addition to wine tasting (between $13 and $33), the center organizes, starting this month, cooking classes with chef Vitor Sobral (between $74 and $100). "Our wines are perfect for those with a gourmet sweet tooth, like a desert," quips Maria Emilia Campos. Address: CHURCHILL'S VISITORS CENTER
