Riberalves Group Begins Viticulture and Wine Tourism Project

Riberalves Group enters the viticulture and wine tourism with a 5ME project that opened last month. Quinta da Archeira – Adega Mãe, a pioneering project in wine and wine tourism is leading the project with an initial investment of 5 million euros (6.7 million USD). The opening ceremony will be attended by Minister of Agriculture, Assunção Cristas, the Mayor of Torres Vedras, Carlos Miguel Soares, and the group's president, João Alves. Quinta da Archeira – Adega Mãe represents the group's entry into Riberalves, a new business area. The popular destination is located in the Parish of São Mamede Ventosa, in Torres Vedras, and aims to be one of the most modern winemaking facilities in the country. Designed by architect Pedro Mateus, the winery includes the winery production area, laboratories, an area of aging warehouses, bottling line, administrative spaces and events area, and a total area of 4,500 square meters.
