Alentejo promotes Good Taste

Dining & Wine is a new tourism product that will be the focus of promoting tourism in the Alentejo from now until 2012. Bom Gosto or Good Taste was announced during the International Conference on Cuisine - Mediterranean cuisine of Alentejo (organized by the Turismo de Portugal, Turismo do Alentejo and Tourism Brotherhood Cuisine of the Alentejo). The program will focus on three areas of events. A comprehensive program is in the works in conjunction with the School of Hospitality and Tourism Portalegre and other professional schools in the region. Finally, the institutional level, aims at creating a "Great Food and Wine Route” along with a reengineering of existing routes, as in wine and olive flavors.
