New boutique hotel in 2014 in Porto: Palácio Batalha Hotel

The Praça da Batalha, Porto, will have a charming four star hotel within two years. The former building of Portugal Telecom (PT) will be converted to the Palácio Batalha Hotel. The project was designed by architect Jorge Gonçalves. The Palácio Batalha Hotel will have 107 rooms, a restaurant and a terrace; The project should be completed by 2014. The palace was built in the late eighteenth century by a noble of the Royal House of Anastacio, Jose Silva da Fonseca.
