A 5-star project is under construction at the Quinta da Marinha in Cascais. Grupo Onyria is entering the final phase of construction of a luxury hotel and residential tourism development. The project was placed in the hands of designers: architect João Paciência and landscape architect Francisco Caldeira Cabral.  The new 5-star hotel will be called the Onyria Marinha Edition Hotel & Thalasso. It will have 68 deluxe rooms, four suites, restaurants and conference rooms, as well as a Thalassotherapy spa. Some of the rooms located on the upper levels will have rooftop Jacuzzis with an ocean view. The new development sits at the heart of the Quinta da Marinha, where the hunting lodge of Portugal’s King Carlos once stood.  To make the most of the nearby sea water, Thalassotherapy will be included the hotel’s spa, with a wide variety of therapeutic, beauty, relaxation and leisure options to choose from. The Quinta da Marinha currently has five restaurants that offer different specialties (fish & seafood, Italian, international buffet, a la carte and a snack bar).  Onyria group plans to have all construction work completed by March 2011.
