New Health Resort in Centro

The construction of a purpose-built eco-resort for older tourists will begin in late 2010 - , with its first phase of operation scheduled for June 2012. Located at Quinta do Baião, in the Coimbra district of Portugal's Centro region, the Nature Goís Health Resort will cover an area of 113,000 square-meters and feature a choice of accommodation, including a four-star hotel, 86 one-bedroom apartments and 34 one-, two- and three-bedroom villas. Operating as a dedicated health resort, the first of its kind in Portugal, Nature Goís will offer a wide range of health and spa treatment and cater for people with the kind of conditions associated with old age, such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
