Tourism Centro de Portugal Launches Wine Tourism

The Turismo Centro de Portugal (TCP) and the Associação Rota da Bairrada (ARB) are partnering to promote cuisine, wine and travel.  The region is home to several world famous wine makers and companies, from Aliança - Vinhos de Portugal, Campolargo, Adega Luís Pato, Caves São Domingos, Caves São João, Casa do Canto, Quinta do Encontro to Quinta de Baixo. And there is a Wine museum at the Museum do Vinho Bairrada. Add to that the Bairrada wine route helping the traveler to find the great local wineries, and trying the famous roast sucking pig of the region.
