The songs of the  Encomendação das Almas, the rosary of  Homens, the procession corridas the songs of the  Martírios and Louvado Nocisso are all ancient rites that can be observed. Hear the ancient songs of Verónica and the Três Marias, or the Santo Sepulcrobon fires, and the village precessions that predate the modern age.  Geopark Naturtejo Meseta Meridian, unifying the municipalities of Castelo Branco, Idanha-a-Nova, Oleiros, Proença-a-Nova, Nisa and Vila Velha de Ródão, has the main task to value the sites that act as key-testimonies of Earth History, instigating employment and promoting regional sustainable development.
