Azorean sights are the scenery in Dutch tea commercial

The island of São Miguel and some of its main tourist attractions were the chosen scenery for a Dutch Pickwick tea commercial; filming was done at the Gorreana tea plantation and the Terra Nostra park. According to a statement from Bensaude Turismo Hóteis, who put the film crew up at the Terra Nostra Garden Hotel, the commercial will showcase “some of the best features and most cherished corners of this fantastic oasis in Vale das Furnas,” as well as the fields of the Gorreana tea plantation; one of only two of its kind in Europe, the other being the Porto Formoso tea plantation. In this same statement, Bensaude Turismo Hóteis recalls that the Terra Nostra park, in Vale das Furnas, was considered one of the world’s most beautiful parks by the Condé Nast Traveller magazine.
