Two 16th Century Pousadas re-open in the Azores

Two Pousada hotels in the Azores reopened this February after a long period of renovation. The Pousada de São Sebastião and Pousada de Santa Cruz, in the cities of Angra do Heroísmo (Terceira Island) and Horta (Faial Island). Until March 31, visitors can take advantage of a re-opening package deal includes 38 Euros per person per night at either Pousada, along with a free bottle of wine. The Pousada de São Sebastião, with 29 rooms, is located in a 16th century fort. The 28-room Pousada de Santa Cruz also housed in an old fort, with spectacular views of Pico, Portugal's highest peak. www.pousadas.ptAzores Photo Gallery
