The Mayor of Portimão, Manuel da Luz, and vice president of the Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, Gregorio Serrano, reached an agreement recewntlyto launch a set of packages Iberian tourism, based on the unprecedented economic and business cooperation. "The objective of this agreement is the creation of Iberian tour packages, combining the history and grandeur of Seville with the leisure and the beaches of Portimão, through economic cooperation and business that establishes an Portimão-Seville route, based on the Algarve Cruise Port, "said the City of Portimão in a statement. But the agreement reached at last week also provides for the development of film and audiovisual sectors, taking advantage of the cooperation that already exists between the Film Commissions of the Algarve and Andalusia, "aimed at creating conditions to host the international film productions." In this preliminary meeting for the signing of a formal cooperation agreement between the two municipalities, held at the Town Hall of Seville, was also attended by Luis Carito, vice mayor of Portimão and Pedro Lopes, the direction of Portimão Tourism Association, and several Spanish personalities.
