Eden Resort Opens in the Algarve

The new Eden Resort is now open in the Algarve since June 10, 2010. Set in the Vale de Santa Maria district of Albufeira, the €60 million project covers an area of 11 metric acres. It is classified as a four-star de luxe with villa and townhouse accommodation, along with a wide range of apartments. On-site facilities include five outdoor swimming pools, an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, spa, children's playground, a restaurant, multi-purpose playing field, mini-market, café and a beach club. And, extensive solar paneling provides electricity and heating to all the residential buildings, making it one of the first truly green resorts to become fully operational in the Algarve.
