Lisbon is a good deal this summer

Portugal’s President Cavaco Silva recommend his fellow countrymen stay within Portugal’s boarders this summer for vacations. Good call! A new Trivago study show that even with a lower euro, Europe is not always a deal. Geneva costs an average of 209 euros – the most costly in Europe. So says the Trivago Price Index. Want to see Venice, well the average room is 198 euros per night. And old Amsterdam is 168 euros per night. Back in Lisbon, the rates dropped 9% in the last quarter to 109 euros per night – 100 less than Geneva. Leave the capital and the average rate is 95 euros per night, - and that is 20 euros less than the European average.
