Some 362 thousand euros are set to be invested in the
Noudar Park, or Parque de Noudar to build infrastructure and preserve historic sites, including the
Castle of Noudar, in the Alentejo Region. Excavating and restoration work will make the monument more accessible. In the
Noudar Nature Park almost 200 species of birds may be found. In this article we present eleven common and easily identifiable species of compulsive flyers and eclectic forest birds, challenging the reader to visit the Park and observe them. Strategically located,
Noudar Castle was completed in 1308, and since then has been subject to various repairs.
