U.S. Helps with growth of tourism revenues for Portugal

The revenue generated by visits to Portugal by Americans grew in May by 46.6%. The information from the Portuguese Ministry of Tourism shows that tourism income from  Americans, who come to Portugal for the most part by airlines, such as via TAP and SATA,  in May had the largest growths of the year. The revenue generated by visits by American tourists had an average increase in revenues in the quarter by 26% to 73.1 million euros, with increases of 17.4% in January, 8% in February, 43 2% in March and 30.2% in April.
