Portugal to open 29 new Hotels in 2010

Across Portugal some 29 will open in the rest of 2010 with 7,000 rooms, according to the Minister of the Economy, Vieira da Silva, as the nation steps up its investment in the tourism sector. According to Vieira da Silva, "the government views tourism as one of the main strategic planks of the country's sustainable economic development."
