Madeira will be the place to be for foodies when the Commercial and Industrial Association of Funchal hosts the first Madeira Gourmet Food Festival from March 16-20, 2010. Originally set for November 2009, the event has been retooled and rescheduled for the last days of
Madeira’s winter. The event is organized in partnership with the World Gourmet Club and will offer a number of cooking and dining events featuring famous chefs from around the world. Madeira hotels and restaurants are getting in on the gastronomic festivities as well, providing local dishes created by some of
