Espiche Golf (Lagos) opened in January 2012. This gently undulating 18 hole, par 72 course, blends into the Algarve landscape. Its lakes, streams and indigenous planting add to the enrichment and biodiversity of the area. The course is exceptional, surrounded by open countryside and vineyards and views of the Monchique Mountains in the distance. The close proximity to Luz and Lagos makes this a very special location. The course uses innovative grass technology making this one of the most ecologically advanced courses in Europe. Espiche Golf SA is a small company that had a big dream. Three entrepreneurs visited the Algarve to look at investment property. When they saw the site at Bago de Uva they visualised a naturally landscaped golf course nestled in the countryside. They took their idea to the South African golf course architect, Peter Sauerman, who designed the course. With a small group of investors and a small team of builders they lovingly built and landscaped the design to sympathetically integrate into the surrounding scenery. Their dream is now a reality for you to enjoy.

Royal Obidos Golfe (Oeste) - opened on January 2012. The late Seve Ballesteros, designer of the golf course at Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort, promised golfers and investors "a great and wonderful place" here on Portugal's Silver Coast.
