ANA opens shop just Portuguese brands

ANA - Airports of Portugal inaugurated its Portfolio shop, a space located in the restricted area from Lisbon Airport that aims to feature local brands and Portuguese wares.

Located in the mountains of  Pampilhosa da Serra, the four-star Villa Pampilhosa Hotel is the result of an investment from around 5 million euros. The Villa Pampilhosa Hotel has 52 rooms, of which 12 are interconnecting and two adapted for disabled guests, a restaurant, bar, conference room, event space and spa. The hotel was designed by Inplenitus - Solutions and Architecture, and built by Ramos Catarino, Company Engineering and Construction Group Catarino. Located on the banks of the river Unhais, Villa Pampilhosa Hotel is also an ideal opportunity for contact with nature and practice of some outdoor activities and tourism related to nature.

Azores invests in Religious Tourism

Based on the Feasts of the Holy Spirit, the Feasts of Senhor Santo Cristo dos Milagres and the Path of Pilgrimage, Azores Tourism intends to invest in the development of religious tourism in that archipelago. The Tourism Office is looking to develop a project around these festivities and is examining a path to the Path of Pilgrimage, which will traverse the entire island of Sao Miguel, with related activities including pilgrimages, regional cuisine, local accommodations and historic heritage, like churches.

Viana do Castelo will have a "chocolate hotel"

The former Avianense chocolate factory, founded in Viana do Castelo, and almost a century ago will be transformed into a hotel with 18 rooms, and an interpretive center dedicated to chocolate in 2013. The aim is to include a hotel, restaurant and Interpretation Centre of Chocolate into the old factory for one million euros. According to the city, the concept will be a "chocolate themed hotel." Besides accommodation, with 18 rooms, the project will preserve the historic facade of the main building and will also have a restaurant area with a capacity for 50 people.
